Audio Post Production and Sound Design for 200 clips for the National Greek Television
I was assigned to do the Audio Post Production for 200 minute-long clips tittled “200 Wonders and Leaps” for the ERT Channel of the National Greek Television. Greece is celebrating 200 years of independence and those videos intend on reminding the public of all the the great political, scientific and social development which took place over this period. In this project, I am responsible for the complete audio post production; audio restoration, editing, sound design, ambiance match and sound effects based on the video material, as well as mixing everything with the voiceover by a Orestis Milios and the music composed by Anna Stereopoulou.

During my free time I enjoy playing the guitar and learning new songs, which I often record using Cubase 10.5. I then simulate some of the additional instruments using MIDI libraries. After recording the guitars for each song, I edit, mix and master them. I then shoot a short video of myself playing the guitar. Finally, I synchronise the pre-recorded audio with the image and upload them on my Instagram page. So far I have recorded 8 different songs from some of my favourite artists. These are:
- Mgła – Exercises in Futility VI
- Gojira – Oroborus
- Deathspell Omega – Apokatastasis Pantôn
- Emperor – Inno a Satana
- Oathbreaker – Needles in Your Skin
- Overcliff – Disintegration of an Erased Cosmogenesis
- Beyond Creation – Fundamental Process
- At the Gates – Under a Serpent Sun
Music Production – Producing Two Progressive Metal Instrumental Tracks
As part of this project I recorded two progressive metal tracks. These two songs were composed, recorded and produced by myself as part of my Music Technology Portfolio during the 3rd year of my Bachelors Degree at the University of York. It is an unofficial release as these two songs are Tracks II and III of my upcoming album which is yet to be recorded professionally including vocals.
Cubase 5 was used for the recording and editing of guitars and bass. The drums were created virtually using slate drums. All keyboards were recorded at the studio at the University of York using Cubase 10. The final mixing and mastering of the tracks took place at the same studio.

This project was supervised by Dr. Gavin Kearney. All recording took place at my home studio, while mixing and mastering took place at the Studios of the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of York. The two tracks can be found below:
Audio Post Production and sound Design: Charlie Chaplin – The Kid
For this project we were asked to form small groups and recreate the audio for any type of visual media. I worked together with Aris Karatzas and Fred Stiddard to do the sound design for Charlie Chaplin’s movie The Kid. We chose that movie as we liked the idea of bringing a silent movie to life by enhancing it with dialogue, modern audio and soundtrack. Furthermore, we tried to darken the atmosphere of the film through the new soundtrack. The sound of the original film was muted and was entirely replaced with new audio created and produced in a studio.
ADR: George Sarantinos
Soundtrack: Aris Karatzas, George Sarantinos
Sound Effects: Aris Karatzas, George Sarantinos, Fred Stiddard
Foley: Fred Stiddard, George Sarantinos, Aris Karatzas

The sound design was done at the studio of the Department of Electronic Engineering of the University of York using Cubase 10.5. Some of the sounds were taken from FreeSound. The project was supervised by Professor Andy Hunt, Dr. Jude Brereton and Mr Andrew Chadwick.
Overcliff – Depiction of Intimacy
Towards the end of 2015 my band Overcliff and I started recording our first full length album. The genre was Progressive Death/Black Metal and consisted of 11 songs. The album was self-released on the 4th of September 2016 and attracted a fair bit of attention globally. It was published as the Recommendation of the Month by Metal Hammer Greece on December’s issue 2016 and was ranked within the Top 40 Underground Metal Albums of 2016 by No Clean Singing.

All guitars and bass were recorded and edited at my home studio using Cubase 5.2. Drums and vocals were recorded in MIH Studio, Athens, Greece were the album was produced, mixed and mastered by David Prudent.
